ECHO Cardiography

Echocardiography uses ultrasound waves to create images of the heart, heart valves, and large blood vessels. It helps to assess the thickness and movement of the heart valve and provides information on ischemia and infarction. It is also used to evaluate the structure and function of heart valves. It detects valvular vegetation and intracardiac thrombus and provides estimates of pulmonary artery pressure and central venous pressure.
