Fetal ECHO Cardiography

Fetal echocardiography uses sound waves to create an image of the fetal heart. This test allows doctors to better understand the structure and function of the fetal heart. This usually happens in the second trimester, between 18 and 24 weeks. This test is used to evaluate the heart of the unborn baby.
